Renault Megane 250 Cup

Renault, originates from France in the land of Europe and this is their latest hot, hot hatch, a Renault Sport Megane 250 Cup. In short, it can also be called as RS250 Cup. In the early life of any RS250 Cup, it was just a standard Renault Megane which rolls out of the Renault factory in Yvelins, France. But, when the bog standard Megane reaches to the hands of Renault Sport engineers in their factory located somewhere in Belgium, that standard Megane starts to see some lights at the end of the tunnel.

Renault Sport begins to mix the performance recipe for the Megane which starts in the power department, a healthy 250HP with a maximum torque of 340Nm right from as low as 3000RPM is churned out from a 2.0L turbocharged. In the handling of power, the 250 horses are channeled down to a 6 speed manual transmission and to the asphalt via a pair of 225/40 series tyres on 18" wheels. The torque split between left and right is handled by a mechanical limited slip differential (LSD) which is only available for the RS250 Cup.

Renault Sport also updated the Electronic Stability Program of the standard Megane where it can be selected either 'On' (default), 'Sport' (less assisted by the ESP) or even 'Off' (no ESP assist) for those who dare to contain this hot hatch. The interior of the car even includes a LCD digital display which can be chosen to display lap time, real-time engine performance and even a display of throttle pedal mapping!

If you are looking for a head turner ride, buy this car.
